II. General information on data processing
1. Scope of processing personal data
Data processing takes place during the application process exclusively for the purpose of carrying out this process. If we agree to work with you at the end of the application process, your personal data that came to our attention during the application process will then also be processed for the purpose of carrying out your employment relationship. You will be informed about this separately at the start of your employment relationship.
As part of the application process, we only process data that is necessary to carry it out. This includes, in particular, your name, your address and your contact details, your CV, your school, study or training certificates, your job references and other information and documents relating to your qualifications. If you submit a travel expense reimbursement after an interview, your bank details will also be requested.
If you consent, video files (video job interviews) will also be processed. This consent is voluntary and can be revoked by you at any time. Of course, you will not suffer any disadvantages if you do not give or revoke your consent.
You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, we would like to point out that the application process cannot be carried out without processing your personal data.
2. Legal basis for processing personal data
Our right to process your personal data as part of the application process is as follows Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of your application.
If you give your consent to the processing of your personal data, our legal basis is Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR. In the relevant cases, your consent is voluntary and can be revoked by you at any time.
3. Data deletion and storage period
Your personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary to carry out the application process. If we are unable to agree on cooperation with you at the end of the application process, your data will be deleted after six months at the latest.
In the event of a subsequent collaboration, your personal data that has already been processed during the application process will generally only be processed for this long
stored as required for your employment relationship.
III. Disclosure to third parties
Kärcher and its subsidiaries are a globally active group of companies. To the extent necessary to process your request, your data will be passed on to the national sales company in your home country. Your data will be regularly sent to the company that advertised the position you are applying for. The respective company is specified in the job description.
If necessary, we will be supported in carrying out the application process by our subsidiary, Interpool Personal GmbH, Berliner Allee 24, 13088 Berlin. The company interpool Personal GmbH belongs to the Kärcher Group and acts as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR) entirely on our behalf. Interpool Personal GmbH will also process your personal data for this purpose. The activities of interpool Personal GmbH may also include reviewing and assigning incoming applications as well as conducting interviews via video or telephone. In this respect, data will not be transferred to a third country outside the European Union.
Your application will be processed using software. For this purpose, your personal data will be processed on cloud servers of SAP Deutschland SE & Co. KG, Hasso-Plattner-Ring 7, 69190 Walldorf. SAP Deutschland SE & Co. KG acts as our processor (Article 28 GDPR) entirely on our behalf. In this respect, data will not be transferred to a third country outside the European Union.
IV. Rights of the data subject
1. Right to information
You can request information about your personal data that we process in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR.
2. Right to object:
You have the right to object for special reasons (see section 8).
3. Right to rectification:
If the information concerning you is no longer accurate, you can request a correction in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR. If your data is incomplete, you can request that it be completed.
4. Right to deletion:
You can request the deletion of your personal data in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR.
5. Right to restriction of processing:
According to Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to request a restriction on the processing of your personal data.
6. Right to complain:
If you believe that the processing of your personal data
If your data violates data protection law, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority of your choice or to the data protection supervisory authority responsible for the responsible body in accordance with Article 77 Paragraph 1 of the GDPR.
7. Right to data portability:
If the requirements of Article 20 Para. 1 GDPR are met, you have the right to have data that we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to third parties.
8. Right to object in accordance with Art. 21 Para. 1 GDPR:
You have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation,
to object at any time to the processing of your personal data, which is carried out on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f of the GDPR. The person responsible will then no longer process the personal data unless he can demonstrate compelling legitimate reasons for the processing that outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
